Introduction
This privacy policy applies to the Sinaps app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Sinaps (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or usage data. All your data is stored locally on your device. If you choose to enable cloud sync, your data will be synced across your devices, but we do not access, view, or process your data in any way.
No Data Collection
The Application does not collect or receive any of the following:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
- Information about the pages you visit or time spent in the Application
- Your device's operating system or device identifiers
- Precise or approximate location information
- Usage statistics or analytics data
- Any personally identifiable information
There is no user registration, no third-party tracking, no marketing, no ads, and no analytics services integrated into the Application.
We do not transmit any data from your device to our servers or to any third parties.
Cloud Sync (Optional)
By default, all your data is stored locally on your device. The Application does not require any cloud services to function.
If you choose to enable cloud sync, you can synchronize your content across your devices. This includes:
- Notes, nodes, and connections you create in the Application
- Settings and preferences you configure
- Any content you explicitly create or save in the app
Cloud sync is completely optional. If you choose not to enable it, all your data remains on your device only. If you enable cloud sync, your data remains under your control. We do not access, view, or process your data in any way unless you explicitly share it outside your devices.
You can disable cloud sync at any time, and all data will remain on your device. We are not involved in processing your synced data beyond facilitating the synchronization you request.
No Third-Party Services
The Application does not integrate any of the following:
- Analytics SDKs or services
- Advertising SDKs or networks
- Third-party tracking services
- Crash reporting services
- Any services that could collect data from your device
Because we do not collect data, there is no sharing of user data with any third parties.
Data Retention
Since no data is collected by us, there is nothing for us to retain or delete.
Any data you create is stored locally on your device. If you have enabled cloud sync, you can manage and delete your synced data through the Application's settings or by disabling cloud sync.
Security
We ensure that the Application handles your data securely. If you choose to enable cloud sync, the Application requests only the permissions necessary to synchronize the content that you explicitly create.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Children's Privacy
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services.
The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission.
If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at info@sinaps.app so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).
Opt-Out Rights
Since the Application does not collect any information, there is no data collection to opt-out of.
You can stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy.
You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
If we ever begin to collect data, we'll update this policy clearly and give you the choice to opt-in or discontinue using the app.
This privacy policy is effective as of January 15, 2025.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
